I went to see "Ponyo" today.  As always with Miyazaki, the animation was beautiful and bright.  The story was cute, though I thought some of Ponyo's dialog got kind of annoying.  I suppose mainly it was because she was supposed to be a five year-old, but she sounded much younger than that.  I've read some criticism that it was short on plot, or ( Read more... )

I'm feeling kind of tired today, because I ended up getting up last night in the middle of the night.  I'm going to be fine, I know, it's just really annoying, because I made a big effort to make sure that I went to bed at a reasonable hour to make sure that I got enough sleep.
